Platypus Friday takes a turn for the jawesome this week, as I got not just one, but two random unsolicited platypus links! How great is that?

And in a much bigger surprise, Ashin Sopāka from Bangkok, Thailand, sends me a link to a BBC article about a platypus trapped in sewage pipes looking for mate. Thank you, Ashin Sopāka!

A few thoughts:
- platypus swimming is about as ridiculous as you might imagine
- platypus are a lot flatter than you might imagine
- the proper place to hold a platypus is right underneath its tail
